Seaweed curious?
Have a go at identifying some of our local seaweed species at this free, hands on, after work seaweed session (we’ll be bringing the ocean to you from the comfort of 2/57!). You can find out more about the Love Rimurimu project, and meet the team working to restore the seaweed of Wellington's harbour.
What’s Love Rimurimu? Imagine the waters of Wellington sustaining a healthy and vibrant ocean forest; able to absorb more carbon than trees, improving water quality and providing habitat for thousands of marine creatures.
