Wānanga Waimāori 2023 Proceedings

June 30, 2023

The Wānanga Waimāori Freshwater Hui was an uplifting event of field trip adventures and powerful kōrero about our freshwater taonga.

From our warm welcome at Takapūwāhia Marae, to getting our gumboots wet, all the beautiful kai, and glorious sunshine - it was certainly a stunner of a day!

Many thanks also to our incredible partners Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira, Greater Wellington, and Porirua City Council, who joined with Mountains to Sea Wellington to produce this collaborative effort.

Luckily you don't have to have been there to share in this hui.

Please view the proceedings from the event using this link.

All the speakers and they're presentations can be found below. So if you have a spare hour, have a listen and dive deep into the Porirua catchment with these incredible folks.
