School Holiday Community Snorkel: Taputeranga Marine Reserve

Looking for something to do this school holidays?

Dive into Taputeranga Marine Reserve for a free snorkelling event this summer. Join us to discover what’s hidden beneath the blue, and meet some fishy friends!

Participants just need to be at least eight years old and confident swimmers. Those under sixteen must be accompanied by an adult. We provide all the necessary gear and experienced guides to ensure your safety and enjoyment in the water.

Registrations open at 10am - come down to book a snorkel time for the day- spots may fill up quickly. Bring your togs, towel, refreshments and make a day of it exploring the activities and environment at Taputeranga Marine Reserve.

To get to Taputeranga Marine Reserve:

We encourage attendees to leave cars at home and use alternative transport where possible. Locals- please come on foot or bring along your bikes/ scooters!
