Restoration project monitoring,
stream clean-ups and planting
Kahotea Stream

Students from Titahi Bay North School have been working on returning Kahotea Stream to good health for over a year. Their project involves establishing a long-term monitoring programme for the stream, coordinating community clean up days and taking part in riparian planting alongside the stream. The school is also creating an on-site nursery at the school to help grow plants for the restoration project.
